At least 20 people have been declared dead and more than 4 lakh people affected leaving their homes and life behind to escape the massive flood and rains. More than seven districts were severely damaged in terms of houses, lands and livelihood. The flood problem has been on for a month with Government being able to help only in a meagre way.
