Sudheer Babu never wanted to do a multi-starrer, but when Sriram Aditya came to him with the script of 'Shamantakamani', he had a change of mind.

"My character grows up without knowing what a mother's love is like. Playing it introduced to me the love of a mother. My grandma died after giving birth to my mother, who grew without knowing her (grandma's) love," Sudheer has told a Telugu daily.

'Shamantakamani', certified with 'U', also stars Rajendra Prasad, Nara Rohith, Aadi and Sundeep Kishan. The film will hit the screens on July 14th.
