Seems like the movie industry woes will never come to an end thanks to the eternal turmoil in the state of Andhra Pradesh about the state bifurcation. The industry has lost terribly during the past 4-5 years in both the Telangana and the Seemandhra regions and the industry being the cynosure of all the people, it has been the prime target and lost Crores of Rupees.
Now with no solution to the problem in sight, the Seemandhra agitators have called for a one day bandh in the Non-Telangana districts of the state on the 11th February. The United Andhra JAC has called for the Bandh and all the single screens will remain shut for all shows tomorrow and some theaters might extend the lockdown to 12th February as well.
Many small films have awaited this period which is rather slack for film releases only with a hope to grab as many screens as possible for release. However, the political stalemate is pushing them back again to the square one and future looks quite bleak and bizarre.
