The Kannada film ‘Mukunda Murari’ is revised edition of ‘O My God’ blockbuster Hindi cinema that was based on ‘The Man who sued God’ Australian film that was known as ‘Kanjiram Versas Kanjiram’ in Marathi and then ‘Govinda Gopala’ in Telugu.
 
The specialty of this Kannada film is two top stars Upendra and Kichcha Sudeep taking on the roles of Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar. The screenplay is also adjusted according to the image of two stars in ‘Mukunda Murari’. There is a song for Upendra and Sudeep characters in this film.
 
The hype is huge because this mesmerizing combination of Upendra and Sudeep. Mukunda sues the God in the court hall. All religious leaders join together to condemn this attitude. Mukunda although with support of Murari faces stiff opposition from society. Later he takes up the case by himself and the bitter argument in the court is what interesting factor. Mukunda hates God in the beginning and finally admits that there is God in this universe. The combination of Upendra and Sudeep is highpoint of this film.

It is MNK Movies, Smt Bharati Devi presents MN Kumar most expensive production shot in 60 plus days. Veteran producer Jayasri Devi is back after seven years to this multi star cast cinema.

Super hit films director Nandakishore of Victory, Adhyaksha and Ranna is heading megaphone. Three songs of this film are scored by Arjun Janya, the flute for ‘Murari’ in this film is another interesting factor.  Sudhakar S Raj is cameraman of this film ‘Mukunda Murari’.

Nikita Tukral is pair to Upendra, for Sudeep two heroines of talent and beauty Rachita Ram and Bhavana appear in a song number, Avinash, Devaraj, Ravishanker, Prakash Belawadi, Tabla Naani, Ishita Vyas, Shivaram, Mohan Juneja, Dingri Nagaraj, Kuri Pratap are in the cast.

KM Prakash is editor, Yoganand Muddan penned dialogues, Dr Ravi Verma stunts, Murali and Harsha dance, Mohan B Kere art direction, Arun Kumar assistance in direction, Narasimha Jalahalli as production manager are part of the technical team.
