'Munnabhai Ki Aatma Katha' to unfold in 2012

For past couple of years we have been eagerly waiting for Munnabhai and Circuit to return on big screens with their ‘Amerika’ adventure. Now bad news is that the project ‘Munnabai Chale Amerika’ is alleged to be scrapped off. But wait! We can still enjoy their ‘tales’, literally. How? Read on…

Buzz is that the makers of ‘Munnabhai’ series – producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra and director Rajkumar Hirani - have developed a totally new concept for its next outing. Titled ‘Munnabhai Ki Aatma Katha’, the film will apparently have Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi. Thus, squashing rumours that the two actors won’t be part of the popular franchise.

Confirming the news, quoted Vidhu to sources, “Sanjay and Arshad are returning to play Munna and Circuit. We are developing the script right now, and the film should start in 2012.”

Hmmm, the title looks impressive. But we hope the ‘Katha’ unfolds on big screens for sure this time…
