Munni comes to TN, but through 'Vedi'!

A guessing game is on and many are speculating of who will play Simbu's Munni in 'Osthi', for the item number was a smashing hit in its original, 'Dabangg'. As the team itself is hunting for that hot dancer who can reprise the role well, looks like we have another Munni to look forward to this Diwali, but through 'Vedi'!

Grapevine has it that, 'Vedi' has a song, 'Mumbai Ponnu...' which is crooned by Mamta Sharma, the lady who received many accolades for her voice in 'Munni Badnam Hui...' from 'Dabangg'.


The master copy of 'Vedi' songs is ready and the trailer will also soon see a launch, say sources, who further vouch that the trailers look stunning. ‘Mumbai Ponnu…', crooned by Mamta Sharma is the hot item track featuring Vishal and Sophie Chowdry which is one of the USP's of 'Vedi'!

Movie buffs can be assured of two hot numbers this Diwali through Vishal's 'Vedi' and Simbu's 'Osthi'... Are you all game to welcome 'Mumbai Ponnu...' Sophie down South?
