Cheran's forthcoming 'Muran' has been censored today and has bagged a clean 'U' certificate with no cuts! It maybe mentioned this movie is a road crime thriller, but, with no gory scenes, a classic combo we'd say.

The censor board further appreciated the team for coming up with a novel concept and also praised individual performances; they wished 'Muran' team luck at the box-office. The camera angles were appreciated the most.

Directed by newcomer Rajjan Madhav the film has been inspired from the Alfred Hitchcock's film 'Strangers On A Train.' With modern Chennai as the backdrop the film is about two strangers meeting one another and what fate has in store for them from then on.

Cheran will play a popular musician and Prasanna will be seen as a rich entrepreneur. The actor has slimmed down and lost a good amount of flab and looks lean and trendy to suit his character in this film.

It will hit the screens this September 23.
