'Muran' to grace screens on September 30

'Muran', an UTV Motion Pictures offering that features Cheran and Prasanna in the lead roles will see a release this September 30. The film that was touted to release on September 23 has now seen a change in its release date due to the less number of screens in the state.


It maybe mentioned that Ajith's 'Mankatha' has been declared a blockbuster and is still running to packed screens, whereas there have been two releases this weekend which have been accepted as quality entertainers by critics, thus pushing the film’s release date by a week.

'Muran' is a road thriller by Rajjan Madhav, with music by Sajjan Madhav. The film is inspired by Alfred Hitchcock's classic 'Strangers On A Train' and is about two strangers who get along to destroy one enemy. It's not a gory film, unlike other psychological thrillers and has Nikita Thukral and Haripriya as female leads.
