Vaamanan, starring Jai (Journey fame), Lakshmi Rai and Priya Anand (Leader fame), the film will hit the screens in last week of Oct or first week of Nov as 'Live.'

"The story revolves around Jai, who comes to the city with the aim of becoming a film actor. As fate would have it, he becomes embroiled in a murder case. Lakshmi Rai plays the role of a model, while Santhanam, as a cameraman, is hilarious throughout", producer S Rajesh says.

A CM-designate is murdered a day before his swearing-in. The entire police force and the intelligence is at a loss to know the whereabouts of the murderer, who was captured by a camera during the crime.

The movie has been directed by Ahammad. Raghu, Sampath Raj, Urvasi, Rohini and others are part of the cast. A song (O Prema Devata) sung by Pawan, an MBA student, has become a hit, the makers say.
