Music composer Shekar to act

Gradually one can see music directors turning sportive to diverge from their usual profession....

Shekhar Ravjiani of Vishal-Shekhar fame is going to finally see his long time dream of acting in films coming true. Buzz is that Shekhar will don the grease paint for first time for a movie which is amusingly titled 'Cold Beer Sold Here'. The movie is also by a debutant director Ballie who is from Punjab.

Sources revealed that Shekhar is quite happy about his acting debut and is excited to start work on the film.

'Cold Beer Sold Here' will be produced by Ravi Padda and Viacom 18 and will be mostly shot in India and few foreign locations.

It can be noted that Shekar's music partner Vishal had faced the camera for "Sheila Ki Jawani" (Tees Maar Khan). Similarly music directors like Himesh Rehsammiya, Sonu Nigam and our classic musical icon Kishore Kumar had been good actors as well.
