'Janatha Garage' is repairing many a record! Creating one record after another, the film is easily on its way to become the biggest hit in NTR's career. Mythri Movie Makers and NTR are said to be looking at a whopping collection of Rs. 70 cr. Here we give you a list of its records...

1. The movie is releasing in the maximum number of theatres in Hyderabad.

2. The biggest-ever overseas release for a Telugu movie in the non-USA market, hitting in as many as 189 screens.

3. Setting a record of sorts, the NTR-starrer is going to have "early morning benefit shows in all the Southern States". Kerala, Karnataka and Chennai are the hot targets. "We are looking at a colossal opening in the metros of the South. It's releasing in more than 300 theatres in Nizam alone. Big openings are expected in Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai", a source has said.

4. Janatha Garage` has become the first Indian movie to be “screened in more than 40 XD screens at Cinemark” in the overseas market. The XD screens come with special features like an “oversize, wall-to-wall and ceiling-to-floor screen” that enhances the movie-watching experience.

5. On Sept 1, the film will be released in a record 48 theatres in UAE alone. This is both the Malayalam and Telugu versions combined. This is apparently the biggest release for a Telugu movie in that country.

6. In Chennai and Chengalpet, the movie has got many screens and multiplexes going for it. There will be a minimum of 17-18 benefit shows, as per a film journo.
