When was the last time you heard a gem of an actor say that he learnt acting lessons from his daughter? Someone has done it and he is none other than Vikram, one of the most beloved Kollywood actors among Telugu audiences.

By now you must have been bowled over many times watching the trailer of 'Inkokkadu'. The effeminate Vikram's role, one of the most curious and challenging 'avatars' to have been donned by an Indian actor in a long time, is the film's raison d'etre. If you have been wondering who was Vikram's reference for the act, here it's revealed, by the talented actor himself.

Recently, the National award-winning actor toured Kerala to promote 'Iru Mugan' (the Tamil title of 'Inkokkadu') and the response was phenomenal. The fans thronged in huge numbers to every place visited by Chiyaan (Vikram's sobriquet). Asked as to how he could essay the difficult role, he said something interesting about getting into the shoes of the feminine character. He revealed how he learnt the lessons from his daughter to perform the effeminate character Love.

Vikram plays dual roles of a RAW Agent and a savvy culprit Love. The 'Aparichitudu' actor revealed that his dear daughter Akshitha trained him on the nuances and body languages of the character

Akshtha is recently betrothed to Manu Ranjith the scion of a big shot family.

The thriller also stars Nayanathara and Nithya Menen in key roles. It's directed by Anand Shankar. Producer Neelam Krishna Reddy has sold the distribution rights of the Vikram-starrer to Abhishek Nama of Abhishek Pictures.

The film is slated for a grand Sept 8 release.
