With less than 48 hours left for the release of his comeback film 'Mambattiyan', Prashanth's hopes are high, as the actor says the movie will be like a trip down the memory lane for elders and a novel experience for youngsters.

"The previous generation enjoyed Malaiyur Mambattiyan. I am sure that they would enjoy the remake too. The younger generation is ready to support honest and daring attempts. Hence I am confident about the movie's success," he says.

"I was on a break for the past few years. But still, I remain where I was before and my place is still there. My fresh game has started now," says Prashanth, who are popular for films like 'Jeans', 'Thiruda Thiruda', 'Kannedhirey Thondrinal' and 'Parthen Rasithen'.

Expressing gratitude to his father Thiyagarajan, who has directed and produced 'Mambattiyan', Prashanth says, "He is my best friend. He has taken extra care to ensure that Mambattiyan shaped up as a perfect entertainer for all sections of the audience."
