On Monday, the new administrators of Nadigar Sangam met the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J.Jayalalitha. On Saturday, they have met two of her political opponents.

Nadigar Sangam President Nasser, General Secretary Vishal, Treasurer Karthi and Vice Presidents Karunaas and Ponvannan met former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi and actor turned politician and the opposition leader in Tamil Nadu State Assembly Captain Vijayakanth.

Speaking to media persons after meeting the two top politicians in their residences, Nasser said that they met Karunanidhi as a courtesy call, as he was one of the oldest members of the Nadigar Sangam. The nonagenarian politician seems to have advised the new administrators to manage the affairs of Nadigar Sangam peacefully.

Vijayakanth was the former President of the Sangam and he shared his guidelines for the new administrators on how to manage the Sangam which has more than 3,000 members.

The Nadigar Sangam team has also met and inquired about the health condition of senior actor and political critique Cho Ramaswamy who is being treated in a private hospital.

Nasser further said that they will meet Superstar Rajinikanth soon. He also clarified that aids for basic amenities on behalf of the Nadigar Sangam for people affected by incessant rain and floods in Cuddalore are being dispatched.
