Nadiya’s mother role in M Kumaran …. Sent producers running to her Mumbai house with offers. She is demanding Rs 30 lakhs from producers since she does not want to do run of the mill roles. She feels that until she gets the right ones she will not sign any film. The only film she has signed is a film opposite Sathyaraj. She said that she would not like to give up her duties as a mother and housewife. “ Luckily in London I could balance my career as TV news reader and house duties. Putting on makeup and facing the camera never left me” commented Nadiya who was once the craze of Tamil movie goers.
