Naga Chaitanya's film strikes big business deal'

Call it the tantalizing attraction of a remake or the ever-so-glamorous appeal of soft romantic films, Premam has struck it big time. This Naga Chaitanya starrer has clocked a good business deal, leaving the producer with a table profit months before the film's release.

The thing is that Premam has been sold for a whopping Rs. 22 cr, that too, barring the Krishna price. This assumes significance as the rom-com's estimated budget is Rs. 17 cr only. Thus, the film will have pocketed a table profit of more than Rs. 5 cr.

Starring Shruti Haasan, Madonna Sebastian, and Anupama Parameswaran in the other lead roles, Premam is being directed by Chandu Mondeti of Kartikeya fame.
