For the first time in the history of Telugu cinema, two films released in a span of three days have made it to the coveted Rs. 50 cr club. After Ram Charan (Magadheera), Pawan Kalyan (Gabbar Singh and Attarintiki Daredi), Mahesh Babu (Dookudu and Srimanthudu), Allu Arjun (Race Gurram), Prabhas (Baahubali), NTR (Nannaku Prematho), Nagarjuna has joined the big league with Soggade Chinni Nayana.

While Nannaku Prematho was fast in achieving this feat by virtue of its gargantuan release, Soggade.. took time for obvious reasons. Nag added more theatres in the second week once Nannaku Prematho vacated some.

Produced by Nag himself, the director Kalyan Krishna is the one to benefit the most from the film in terms of fame. After Baahubali, Ramya Krishna got another big boost. Nag's evergreen 'soggadu' avatar is a major factor behind the film's success, more than its storyline.
