When 'Eeram' released none ever thought it would go on to fetch the fame and popularity it actually did. The film gave a new dimension to the way ghost movies were viewed. It was a product of director Arivazhagan.

Now the director is busy with his upcoming project 'Vallinam' which has Nakul in the lead. The female lead is being essayed by Bindhu Madhavi. Nakul plays the role of a basketball player in the film. The film deals with the travails in the life of a sports person. Nakul opines that he has never come across a script such as this and is naturally thrilled to be a part of this project.

'Vallinam' was earlier titled as 'Acham Thavir.' Nakul has high regards for his director who has a detailed approach to each shot. He knows Arivazhagan from the days of 'Boys,' the latter was director Shnakar's assistant. Nothing much about the film has been revealed. Vijay Ulaganathan is the cinematographer for this project and Thaman is the music director.

Now time has to tell if 'Vallinam' will be an encore to 'Eeram' or better.
