The small and happening romance is something hard to give it a miss and no wonder it has a flair for the young directors to give it a shot yet again. The movie is directed by Venkatesan a former associate director of renowned director "VenkatPrabhu", Venkatesan also assisted KarthikSubburaj for Jiggarathanda which is yet to be released.

Light hearted romance in petty villages with a lot of obstacles to win over, is quite common in Indian Cinema and what we hear is the director has taken a leaf out of the storyline and mixed up with the right ingredients to give a mix of romance and family drama. As is the trend of NRI producers cashing in on debut directors, the producer RavinderChandrasekaran is a NRI from the swiss and was quite impressed with the storyline narrated by the director that he readily agreed to produce it.

Personalities and celebrities arising from small screen have become quite common these days and why not! Talent is never gone unnoticed in Kollywood and making his way into cine stardom is Michael Thangadurai who was impressed quite a few with his stylish dance sequences in small screen dance shows. He did make his debut in a character role "Kanimozhi" alongside Jai, and that's how his presence has now come a long way to the bigger screen.

The heroine is quite familiar to us,Nandita of the recent IdharkuthaneAasaipataiBalakumara fame is playing at what she is best. Her role looks to be the same as in many of her movies the chubby girl from the village and that has always clicked for her from the days of Attakathi. For the comic relief Soori will be taking up the lead role and as usual coming to village centric movies, he is the man around to bring some laughter.

The audio launch of the movie happened quite sometime back along with Thillumullu and Suttakadhai in Swiss and ever since then it has been winning some melodical reviews for its salient portrayal. Ashawath N makes his mark with this flick and hopefully we will see more of him down the future lane.

Libra Productions is looking at a possible July release, so as the rain hits the state, let us wait for this romance to win our hearts pretty soon.
