Weeks after she visited Siddhapur village in Mahbubnagar district, Namrata Shirodkar met Jupally Krishna Rao, the Panchayat Raj Minister. She met him at his office. The meet was also attended by the Collector of the district. Namrata was there to seek the government's cooperation toward Mahesh Babu's effort to turn the village into a smart village.

The superstar's wife was assured of full cooperation by the minister.

Namrata said that the couple were in the process of preparing a comprehensive action plan to make Siddhapur a smart village. Cleanliness, health and education are among their priorities.
