‘Frankly’ B-town director Tigmanshu Dhulia has observed with his helmer’s eye which many have failed to notice and it’s a compliment for tinsel town’s irresistible Nana Patekar who is a class in his own.

Tigmanshu believes that the legendary Hollywood pride of westerns James ‘Gary’ Cooper and our dear Nana Patekar have something in similar.

Reveals Tigmanshu, “Nana’s walk is just like Garry Copper also the fact that the attitude Nana carries is just what I wanted for this role. He is amazing in the film".

It is learnt that Tigmanshu was adamant that the role of the stern policeman ACP Hanumant Singh in his forthcoming ‘Shahgird’ should be played only by none other than Nana Patekar himself.

Tigmanshu is confident that ‘Shahgird’ will make Nana and his fans proud.

We all have loved Nana in his police cap whether as the talkative Inspector Yeshwant Lohar in ‘Yashwant’, or the sarcastic Shivajirao Wagle in ‘Tirangaa’ and of course the memorable Inspector Sadhu Agashe in ‘Ab Tak Chhappan’.

Well, we all are eagerly waiting for Nana's Avatar as the 'Garry Cooper of Bollywood in ‘Shahgird’ on 13th May, 2011.
