'Nanda Deepa' ready

Famous cameraman of Kannada cinema and producer of two films 'Shastry and Snehana Preethina' materializing his dream of two decades by finishing the third film production of his career. The film 'Nanda Deepa' based on a song 'Kannirina Kathe of famous folk singer Gururaja Hoskote has been completed in 25 days in Shamshi village in Hubli. The film 'Nanda Deepa' is ready for release on 1st of August 2008.

While 35 years ago written song 'Kannirina Kathe' is Anaji Nagaraj's most favorite song for the same song director Shivu Hiremath had made the script 10 years ago. Both joining together in Namana Films the film is ready now. Dynamic star Devaraj, popular actress Shruthi, Master Manoj, Sanjana play the lead roles in this film. The film focuses on the need of education and danger of step mother.

The author of the song Kannirina Kathe Gururaja Hoskote speaking on this occasion disclosed that he had written this song in 1973. Although the film is based on Gururaj Hoskote song the theme song for the film is written by Dr.Nagendra Prasad. The content of the Hoskote song is used for the subject of the film. There are four songs in the film 'Nanda Deepa' in which two songs are written by Hoskote and Nagendra Prasad. Gururaja Hoskote the hot favorite in folk music and singing has scored the music for the film.

The audio of 'Nanda Deepa' was released by two senior journalists Udaya Marakkini and A.S.Murthy at Green House restaurant on Monday evening.
