After ‘Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru’, a comedy caper, it seems it's now time for director Nandhini to try her hands on a thriller. Circles close to the filmmaker say she is gearing up to start her next film soon.

"Nandhini's next would be a crime thriller set in the backdrop of a village. It is about a series of murders that take place in a hamlet and how the case is solved," sources say.

A popular actor and actress will be the hero and heroine of the yet-to-be titled movie, we learn. It is also said there would be enough space for comedy in this thriller too, as Nandhini wants to give some relief to the audience from the serious stuff.

"The film will be produced by a well known production house. An official announcement will be made soon. Plans are on to release the movie by the end of 2010," sources add.
