Vikram, Anushka Shetty starrer 'Deiva Thirumagan' is dubbed into Telugu as 'Nanna'. The trailers of the movie have managed to grab the attention of audience as Vikram is seen as 'Krishna' an adult with a mental maturity of a five year old boy. His body language, mannerisms, expressions and look have come as a major surprise to many who were kept guessing about this movie for months.
Both Anushka and Vikram at the audio launch of this movie have assured that 'Nanna' will be a laugh riot for the audience. Vikram is known to potray roles that are different, intense, unseen before and challenging for any actor.
"This is one of the most favourite roles of all the charecters I have played as an actor. After watching this film, audience will care for their father more than before. The director of this movie and the entire crew worked very hard to get the feel of the script right." Vikram said.
A R Rahman's nephew G V Prakash Kumar is the music director for this flick. His previous film 'Darling' was a musical hit. However, audience who heard the songs are upset about the Telugu lyrics. The playback singers couldn't pronounce the Telugu words properly and hence most often, the meaning of the word is changed.
In the trailers of 'Nanna', the song 'Raja Vari...' is being telecast often. The lyrics in this song sound funny as the singer couldn't get pronounce a single Telugu word right.
Nirav Shah is the cinematographer for this picture. The director of the film Vijay directed 'Madraspattinam' which is considered one of the best Tamil films in the recent past.
Apart from Vikram and Anushka, Nassar, Amala Paul,Santhanam, M S Bhaskar, Pandi et al are seen playing important charecters in this film. Sources say actor Karthi will be seen in a special role in the movie.
Mohan Natarajan produced this movie in Tamil while Dr Malla Vijayaprasad and Suresh Kondeti purchased the Telugu rights for Rs 4.5 crore recently. While the teaser trailer evoked critical acclaim for the movie, we are yet to see how this emotional drama will do at the box office. This movie is all set to release in the second week of July.
