Filmmaker Manoharan is all praise for Nasser, who is playing an all-important role in his directorial venture titled ‘Maharaja’.

“The actor, who made a mark by doing versatile roles, plays a middle-aged man in ‘Maharaja’, who decides to break free and start enjoying life to the fullest. He has done an excellent job,” says Manoharan.

“We all already knew Nasser’s top class acting in comical roles in films like ‘Magalir Mattum’ and ‘Avvai Shanmugi’. But his performance in ‘Maharaja’ is something which is unique and wonderful,” he says.

On the film, he says, “The movie speaks about the generation gap. Sathya, Anjali and Anitha play prominent roles. Nasser dons the role that he has never done before. He comes in trendy costumes and shakes his legs with heroines”.

A former associate to Arjun, Manoharan adds: “A peppy number set to tune by D Imman was shot featuring Nasser. I am hopeful that it will become a chartbuster.” Produced by J Ravi, ‘Maharaja’ also has Karunaas, Saranya and M S Viswanathan in key roles.
