The two time state award winner Navya Nayar makes her debut in Kannada cinema opposite Darshan in 'Gaja'. Intelligent and outspoken Navya started her career from 'Ishtam'. In 2002 she bagged the Kerala State award for 'Nandanam' and another state award she bagged for two of her good portrayals in 2005.

She plays the role of a foreign returned girl in 'Gaja'. In the professional career she has seen fans not happy with glamorous roles. She has checked out from her experience in 25 films. That is the reason why I am choosing only good roles, costumes and imbibe only progressive thoughts she clarified to a question.
