Navya’s brighter chances in Kollywood

Navya Nair, who made her debut in Tamil with ‘Azhagiya Theeye', was instantly recognized as a talented actress in Kollywood. Thereafter, she went on to do heavy films and characters in 'Aadum Koothu' and ‘Mayakkannadi'.

Her latest release in Kollywood is the Jayaraj flick ‘Silanerangalil', which instantly grabbed good reviews. Her meaty roles in the film playing two characters Thamarai and Anjali, of different ages is also rated as a dynamic and brilliant performance, which gave the needed impetus to the film. Her recent Kannada release 'Gaja' was also well received in the state. She will soon complete her new films like 'Ettappan' and 'Raman Thediya Seethai' in Tamil which will grace the theaters in a few months. Navya also have new offers from Simbudevan, Samudrakani and another one, opposite Jayam Ravi.

Navya is presently in the sets of 'Kavyam' opposite Suresh Gopi. She is donning a heavy and promising character of Umadevi, a young woman belonging to the Namboothiri community, a victim of fate, who bravely faces the hurdles that come her way.

Navya's other releases in Mollywood includes SMS by Sarjulan, in which she is playing the female lead opposite young star, Bala. Apart from these, Navya has signed on for yet another Tamil film, 'Aval Tamizharasi'. The movie scripted and directed by Meera Kathiravan is a heroine-oriented film, produced by Moser Films.
