Navya Nair was adjudged the best actress at an international film festival held in Russia recently.

Her Malayalam movie Saira was screened at the festival. She plays a journalist in the movie. Navya Nair does the role of Saira Ali, a TV journo.

She was awarded the best actress at the fest. She is presently in the USA with Vineeth for a few dance programmes. So, director Biju collected the award on her behalf.

Navya Nair is pinning a lot of hopes on her forthcoming movie Mayakkannadi opposite Cheran. She plays a woman running a beauty parlor in the movie.
