In a bid to fulfill her desire to do challenging roles, Navya Nair is playing a mentally challenged woman in a new Malayalam film. Suresh Gopi is doing the lead role in the movie, directed by Harikumar. ÂI am doing the role of a college student, who has some psychological problems. The film would be a milestone in my career, says the actress.
Ask her about her marriage plans, Navya says, ÂI hail from a small village and whatever I have achieved is simply because of fate. My marriage and future projects all are part of destiny and whatever I get is attributed by me as fate.Â
Admitting that she had ego problems while working with other female co-stars, Navya says, "Even though we are good friends, when it comes to professionalism, the spirit of competitiveness is there.Â
