Nayantara met the Chief Minister Jayalalithaa and presented a cheque for a sum of Rs 5 lakh towards the cause of those affected by the Thane cyclone. She met the CM yesterday morning (February 9) at the TN Secretariat.
Earlier, bigwigs of the TN film industry donated towards the cause including Superstar Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Suriya, Karthi, Sivakumar, Sarathkumar and several others. ItÂs also said that Thangar Bachan will be making a documentary on the Thane cyclone.
Nayantara who bid an adieu to films is back in action post her alleged break up with ex-beau Prabhu Deva. Buzz is that she has signed a film opposite Ajith and Arya for producer AM Ratnam and director Vishnuvardhan. She also has a Telugu biggie opposite Nag apart from a couple of offers in the pipeline.
