Now, you will really pooh-pooh the actress to turn down such a delicious offer. But yes, the sizzling Nayantara has refused a role in Mani RatnamÂs ÂRaavanaÂ. It seems the actress was approached by the directorÂs wife Suhasini, on his behalf, to offer her a role of Mandodhari, the wife of Raavana, in the movie.
Some sources say that she declined that offer claiming it to be a de-glamorised role. Whereas, some say that the actress, who is already committed to other projects, has no dates to spare for this one. If this is the case, we can understand how much upset Nayantara will be to say 'no' to Mani sir.
Hmm, thatÂs really bad. Else, it would have been wonderful to see Nayantara joining the other high profiled stars in the movie.
