Nayanthara is on cloud nine thanks to the presitigious Nandi award of the Andhra Pradesh government, for her performance in mythological movie 'Sri Rama Rajyam'.
In the film starring Balakrishna in the lead role (of Lord Rama), Nayanthara played Goddess Seetha Devi. "The award has made me so happy," says the actress.
Nayanthara, who is currently eyeing a comeback in both Kollywood and Tollywood, says, "My thanks to director Bapu who was firm on casting me in Sri Rama Rajyam despite some opposition."
The 'Chandramukhi' and 'Billa' actress also expressed gratitude to producer Sai Babu and Balakrishna for their co-operation. "And my gratitude to the audience for accepting me in the role," she adds.
