Nayanthara, who flew to Malaysia to join the unit of 'Iru Mugan' was detained by the airport authorities. It was earlier said that the reason for the detainment is that there is a mismatch of name in the passport of the actress. Nayanthara's original name is Diana Mariam Kurien.

However, it was a case of a work permit seal not there. After the authorities followed the required formalities to ensure that, they cleared the actress' name and she took the flight.

To prevent the spread of ill-motivated rumors, well-placed sources in Malaysia have confirmed that the top actress has been detained for a specific reason.
