There are reports doing the round that Nayanthara is a money snatcher and that she demands exorbitant amounts of money for acting in a movie. However, the actress has denied the reports saying that she charges only according to the market.
Nayanthara receives more than what Mammootty and Mohanlal gets in the Tamil film industry, since the market is huge there. In Malayalam her charge is less. Also she revealed that she fixes her package beforehand. Nayanthara also clarified that she would never quit a movie midway if any difference of opinion about salary arises.
