Though younger actresses are doing multiple projects, seniors such as Nayanthara are not just in demand but are taking high remuneration too. Nayanthara, the lady superstar is the highest paid actresses in South India, thanks to her back to back hits.
Nayans seems to charge heavy sum not just for films but also television ads. Apparently, the actress had charged a whopping sum of rupees 5 crores for a new commercial, that was shot in four south Indian languages - Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. Reportedly, the ad was shot for just 2 days.
Well, thankfully, the new wave of actresses in Indian cinema are finding the courage to fight for their salaries. This woman is clearly astounding and headed straight for that glass ceiling!
