Actress Nayanthara has reportedly joined the 'Iru Mugan' unit in Malaysia. The 'Thani Oruvan' star heroine acts for the first time as the pair of Vikram in this film directed by Anand Shankar of 'Arima Nambi' fame.

Now we have reliable information about the character Nayanthara will be playing in this film. The actress who has acted in three super hits in 2015 will be acting as a undercover cop agent in this film.

Nithya Menen plays another heroine in this ultra stylish action flick. Vikram reportedly plays dual roles in the film but there is no official confirmation on this regard.

Harris Jayaraj scores the music and RD Rajashekhar handles the camera for 'Iru Mugan' produced by Shibu Thameens of SKT FIlms banner.
