After a head coach, the BCCI will now have to look for a new physiotherapist as Andrew Leipus is supposed to have sent in his resignation over lack of clarity from the BCCI.

Andrew Leipus was a physiotherapist at the National Cricket Academy. Like Rahul Dravid, Leipus asked for more clarity about his future from the Supreme Court appointed Committee of Administrators (COA) months ago. Unlike Dravid, Leipus got no reply. He had doubts about his house lease, his children’s school fees, among other things.

Leipus is touted with improving the Indian team’s fitness. He was appointed as chief physiotherapist at the NCA in October 2015.
