Pooja Gandhi was heroine of Mungaru Male` - all time record film and the second heroine for sequel is Neha Shetty from Mangaluru.

Director Shashank taking on the most coveted title Mungaru Male` of Yogaraj Bhat has chalked out a good script and screenplay. He ropes in golden star Ganesh to play lead in Mungaru Male 2`. Neha Shetty has been finalised as heroine. Neha was Miss Mangaluru in 2014. A stylish looking girl was requirement for Mungaru Male 2`. Neha Shetty suits immaculately say Shashank. Neha is taking workshop for this film before the actual shooting. From July 28 the film is commencing shooting. The same day Mungaru Male` of Yogaraj Bhat also commenced shooting. It was in Tumkur Road Nisarga House but the shooting for sequel is starting outskirts of Bengaluru. The
shoot will be in Madikeri, Sakleshpur surroundings in first schedule.

Director Shashank and producer Gangadhar intends to release the film in December end the time of Mungaru Male` release in 2006.
