A 16-year-old German, who allegedly ran from home and joined the ISIS as a bride in 2016, has been found alive in Iraq, according to the German government

The teen is one of five foreign woman captured by Iraqi forces in Mosul after the defeat of ISIS. Sources said that the women were moved to Baghdad for interrogation.

The young German is healthy physically, her mental health not known for the moment, and will face trial in Iraq. It is doubtful whether she will return to Germany for the moment, but if it is proved that she was an ISIS member, the German federal prosecutor will handle her case, sources said.
