Career has come a full circle for Anjali, one has to say. It was in Tollywood the 'Angadu Theru' girl kick started her acting journey, before she stepped into Kollywood and made it big here.
And now, Anjali is back in Telugu film industry, doing a couple of 'promising projects'. One among them is 'Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirumalle Chettu', which has top heroes Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh in lead roles.
"Many are of the opinion that I am doing glamour-filled roles in Tollywood. My answer to them is a big no. So far I have got performance oriented characters alone," says the actress.
Stating that some people in the Telugu industry felt that she would fill the vacum left by late Soundarya, Anjali says language is not a barrier for her. "I will focus simultaneously on Kollywood and Tollywood."
