Not long ago, Kollywood buzzed with the news that Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth would come together for their mentor Balachander's 101st movie Poi being produced by Prakashraj's Duet Banners.

The news created ripples in Kollywood for it involves the stalwarts - Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, who have huge fan-following.

However sources close to Prakashraj, say, there is no truth in the news. 'It was false and one wonders why such a news was spread'.

Meanwhile his Duet Movies has completed Kanda Naal Mudhal starring Laila, Prasanna and Karthik Kumar and is all set to hit theatres next month.
