Speaking at the pre-release function of 'SPYder', Mahesh Babu said that his fans are one-of-their-kind.

"You are the kind of fans who will watch my movie only if it is good. You have to be like this for ever," he said amid the crowd's loud cheers.

"I have waited for this moment for 1.5 years. I am happy 'SPYder' is finally here. I had met Murugadoss garu around the time 'Pokiri' released. I am a big fan of his style of screenplaying. It's my fortune that I got to work with him. He is the same person then and now, although he has grown into a pan-Indian director. When he narrated the script to me for 1.5 hours, I was stunned. He told me the sets, the fights etc are going to be amazing," Mahesh said.

"I think nobody else has done a proper bi-lingual like this on this big a scale. It was like making two movies. Each of the scenes took 5-6 takes for each of the languages. I can never forget this journey. Only a passionate director could have done this," the hero said.

"I regard directors as my gods. That's why I have got to do an 'Athadu', a 'Pokiri', a 'Srimanthudu'. I had dreamt of working with Santosh Sivan garu ever since I watched his 'Roja' and 'Dalapathy'. It's a dream-come-true to work with him," Mahesh said.

He praised Peter Hein, the stunt choreographer, saying that only he could have done the climax which involved shooting with 2000 artistes for 20-25 days.

About his co-star SJ Suryah, the charming actor had this to say. "The climax scenes were such a difficult thing to pull off. Even when I was out of energy, Suryah didn't run out of it," Mahesh remarked.

"People rarely talk about a film's background music. Harris Jayaraj's BGM is often praised for that," he said.

He finally said that once he accepts to do a film, he gives his all.
