Pooja is maintaining a low profile even after her last venture ‘Naan Kadavul’ fetched her accolades and awards. While some say she is planning to enter wedlock, the actress denies it and says there are no such plans as of now.

“Why should I marry in a secret way as buzzed by a section of the media? My marriage will be a grand affair and there will be no secrets in it. My friends and colleagues will be invited to take part in my wedding,” she says.

Then why she is not seen in films? To this, Pooja says, “Because I am of late staying in my native place in Sri Lanka. As a result, I am unable to come to Chennai often. So I could not commit myself in movies.”

Happy about ‘Naan Kadavul’, she says, “the film has proved that I can excel in performance oriented roles too. All credits to director Bala who took pains to bring out the best from me. It is one of the important movies in my career.”
