Balakrishna is not in a hurry to rush through the legendary NTR's biopic. He might have been tempted to go in for Ram Gopal Varma. But sense has prevailed.

Speaking to a news agency, the 'Paisaa Vasool' star has said that they "don't want to rush things for the sake of it" as it is a prestigious project for his family as well as the Telugu people. The director's name hasn't been finalized.

The film will be taken to the floors next year.

Since Balayya will be busy with Puri Jagannadh's film in the first quarter of 2018, and thereafter with Boyapati Srinu's from May onwards, the NTR biopic may be shot only from the last quarter onwards. If everything goes well, it should be ready for a grand Summer 2019 release.
