Dear Mr. Kundan Shah,

Am writing this on behalf of the entire cast and crew of `O Teri' - the damagers.. sorry producers Atul Agnihotri and  Alvira Khan, the misdirector.. sorry director Umesh Bist, the disaster sorry writer Neeta Palta and the lead hamtors sorry actors and Pulkit and Bilal..

Sir, your unforgettable 1983 cult classic `Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro' is `blown up' to such ridiculous, bizarre, hackneyed parody that instead of giving two stars we feel that the makers should give three or even more bottles of hajmolas along with the movie ticket to digest this.

No sir it's not a remake so you cannot sue them but the inspiration is obvious as two good for nothing journos P.P. (Pulkit) and AIDS ( Bilal) accidently discover a dead body of a whistle blower who is about to unearth the corruption of politician Khwaja (Anupam Kher - the only saving grace) in the film during the common wealth games of 2010.. a mad hunt for the dead body takes place while you are exposed to the dirty nexus between corruption, politics, bureaucracy, news media and business.

Jaane Bhi Do Yaroo was in 1983.. this is in 2014 so we have an item number by Iulia Vantur (you know who she is) also a media manager played by Mandira Bedi, a corrupt news channel head played by Sarah Jane Dias, a gay opposition leader played by Vijay Raaz (repeats himself), a dog Maa Polly.. Remember the 2010 world cup.. huff huff.. why doesn't it work..

The script and the narrative turn strange bedfellows not at all willing to initiate, co-operate, or do anything to fare this better from a disjointed humdrum ho hummer lacking the bravura necessity of novelty in such genre to bring the country's corruption fully to life on screen to lure decent critical reception and viewer's interest.

Continuing further will be a criminal offence of ruining your trendsetter masterpiece dobaara..

Am ending it up by saying these two words on behalf of `O Teri' people - Very Sorry.
