Melody in parts
Tuesday, August 29, 2006 • Kannada Comments

The musical scores of R.P.Patnayak in 'Odahuttidavalu' are partly melodious and as he said each one of the song is up to the mark of his Neene Neene.., song from 'Akash' Kannada film is absolutely wrong. The three songs are melodious but the borrowing of tunes from original 'Porkalam' has not yet been ascertained. Lyricist Kalyan has to stop looking at the dictionary and write lyrics. It has not been up to the mark.

Trailblazer Ravichandran has strong sense in music and himself is a music director too. For the first time RP Patnayak is scoring music for Ravichandran film.

Mathu Belli Kane Mouna Chinna Kane.. By SPB a sister sentiment song is the best of the six songs.

En Chandavo. chandavo.. By Karthik and Sunitha a duet is a peppy song but the musical score is not fresh.

The song Odahuttidavalu.. Sung by R.P.Patnayak is nothing but screaming at the top of voice.

Thangi Naguthale Nan Thangi Naguthale...by SPB is melodious but the lyrics and music is not a new attempt.

Mandyadhinda Mannu Thandu..., Kalyan has given justice to all the places in Karnataka and he has just tried to link it to his lyrics. The Kannada dictionary has come to his help.

Baro Baro Mava Kudhire aata aadona... sung by Rajesh and Chitra is average.

As the protagonist in this film Ravichandran is a pot maker the in lay card of this CD is designed in pot shape.

Arjun Music has released this Lakshmishri combines 'Odahuttidavalu' audio. CD is fixed at Rs.50.
