Director Mani Ratnam after dabbling with thrillers ‘Ravanan’ and ‘Kadal’ is back on familiar ground with ‘Ok Kanmani’ aka ‘O Kadhal Kanmani’ a romantic drama starring Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menon, Music by A.R.Rahman, Lyrics by Vairamuthu and Cinematography by P.C.Sreeram reunites the super hit team of ‘Alaipayuthey’ after fifteen years. This movie is a bilingual made in both Tamil and Malayalam.
Prakash Raj plays an important role while Leela Samson and VJ Ramya make their acting debuts with ‘OK Kanmani’.
The audio of ‘OK Kanmani’ was released to tremendous response from fans and the album has become a chartbuster. During a press meet it was candidly hinted that the film is about a live in relationship between the characters Aadi and Tara played by Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menon respectively.
