‘Oru Kal Oru Kannadi’, a promising out and out light veined laugh right has bagged a clean ‘U’ certificate from the censor board officials. The movie can now apply for the tax exemption from the state government due to the clean content and U certificate.

It is further said that the makers are eyeing for an April 6 release but it hasn’t been announced officially yet.

OKOK is helmed by Rajesh and has Udhayanidhi Stalin and Hansika Motwani in the lead roles and marks Udhay’s debut in Tamil cinema as an actor. Music has been composed by Harris Jayaraj and the film has Arya aka Jammy, Sneha and Andrea Jeremiah in interesting cameo appearances.

There’s much hype due to the success of ‘Siva Manasula Sakthi’ and ‘Boss Engira Baskiran’. The presence of Santhanam who is Rajesh’s lucky mascot can be rightly referred to as the film’s biggest plus and the trailers provided a prelude to Santhanam’s witty one liners in the film and went viral on networking sites among the young.
