Only Mohanlal's part in 'Kanal' is left to be finished. The dubbing and other works of the movie by other actors have been completed. The shoot was complted way back and associated post-production work had been on. Mohanlal's dubbing part is the only remaining.

Mohanlal is currently busy with the shoot of Vyshak's 'Puli Murugan'. The shooting is on at Kothamangalam. The actor is expected to do the dubbing soon. 'Kanal's' motion poster was released a while ago. The movie will be ready for theatres as soon as Mohanlal's unfinished work is completed.
