Oviya is playing the female lead in the Kannada remake of 'Manjapai'. Starring Ravi in the lead, the movie titled 'Mommaga' is helmed by N Raghavan, who made the original version as well.

"Raghavan knows Oviya right from 'Kalavani' days and hence he roped in her for 'Mommaga'. The film is over and is in fact getting ready for release," sources said.

Rangayana Raghu, Sadhu Kokila Avinash are said to be playing key roles in this flick. Only recently, the Telugu version of 'Manja Pai', titled 'Errabus', hit the screens recently and ran successfully.
